- 150g Egg
- 3g Salt
- 10g Sugar
- 30g Water
- 20-30g Toasted sesame seeds
Tool
- Non-stick or deep frying pan
- Mixing bowl
- Kitchen scale
- Plastic wrap
- Rolling pin
- Knife or dough cutter
- Chopsticks or kitchen tongs

- Step 1: Mix the dough
Place the wheat flour, cornstarch, eggs, salt, sugar, water and toasted sesame seeds in a mixing bowl. Mix until a smooth, uniform dough forms.
- Step 2: Rest the dough
Cover the dough tightly with plastic wrap. Let it rest for at least 1 hour under suitable room-temperature conditions, or refrigerate overnight.
- Step 3: Roll and cut the dough
Roll the dough into a thin sheet. Cut it into strips approximately 5 cm long and 0.4 cm thick.
- Step 4: Fry the sesame sticks
Heat cooking oil in a pan. Fry the dough strips in batches over low to medium heat, turning them evenly until golden and crisp. Remove and drain on a wire rack or paper towels.
- Step 5: Optional finishing
For extra flavor, toss the fried sesame sticks in a pan with sugar and ginger. Adjust the quantities to taste.
